SAVING THE FLAG
On 25 April 1976, two protesters attempted to burn an American Flag
in Dodger Stadium during a game between the Los Angeles Dodgers
and the Chicago Cubs. Rick Monday, an outfielder for the Cubs,
rescued the Flag and saved the day.
